Reduce and refine: Plasma treated water vs conventional disinfectants for conveyor-belt cleaning in sustainable food-production lines

چکیده

Sustainable and microbiologically secure foodstuff production lines are of increasing scientific interest in the focus recent research programs. Additionally, they great importance for industry due to prevention food-borne illnesses caused by pathogens such as Salmonella sp., Listeria monocytogenes, or Escherichia coli. These responsible losses, loss customer acceptance, severe illnesses. A pathogenic threat is frequently combated with sanitizing steps lines. For conveyor band cleaning, this study compares cleaning abilities nitric acid (HNO3) plasma treated water (PTW), which have been sprayed via a commercially available nozzle on two different polymeric surfaces (polysiloxane polyurethane). agents HNO3 PTW characterized through their pH conductivity. findings underpinned experiments that possible influence abrasion, brass stainless-steel nanoparticles, antimicrobial potential HNO3. Adversely acting effects like an enhanced abrasion conveyer materials treatment checked using light microscopic micrographs topographic scans high-resolution mode. Based presented results experiments, suitability in-place sanitation step has demonstrated laboratory scale.

Synaptic Ribbon Conveyor Belt or Safety Belt?

The synaptic ribbon in neurons that release transmitter via graded potentials has been considered as a conveyor belt that actively moves vesicles toward their release sites. But evidence has accumulated to the contrary, and it now seems plausible that the ribbon serves instead as a safety belt to tether vesicles stably in mutual contact and thus facilitate multivesicular release by compound exo...

Reexamining the Cold Conveyor Belt

Despite the popularity of the conveyor-belt model for portraying the airflow through midlatitude cyclones, questions arise as to the path of the cold conveyor belt, the lower-tropospheric airflow poleward of and underneath the warm front. Some studies, beginning with Carlson’s analysis of the eastern U.S. cyclone of 5 December 1977, depict the cold conveyor belt moving westward, reaching the no...

Chaos on the conveyor belt.

The dynamics of a spring-block train placed on a moving conveyor belt is investigated both by simple experiments and computer simulations. The first block is connected by a spring to an external static point and, due to the dragging effect of the belt, the blocks undergo complex stick-slip dynamics. A qualitative agreement with the experimental results can be achieved only by taking into accoun...

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
